چکیده
This paper considers wireless uplink information and downlink power transfer in cell-free massive multiple-input multiple-output systems. The single-antenna user equipments (UEs) utilize the energy harvested to transmit pilot signals multiple-antenna access points (APs). We consider Rician fading maximum ratio processing based on either linear minimum mean-squared error (LMMSE) or least-squares (LS) channel estimation. derive average by using a practical non-linear harvesting circuit model for both coherent non-coherent transmission schemes. Furthermore, spectral efficiency (SE) is derived all considered methods max-min fairness problem cast where optimization variables are AP UE control coefficients together with large-scale decoding vectors. objective maximize SE of UEs’ under APs’ constraints. A novel alternating algorithm guaranteed convergence improvement at each step proposed solve highly-coupled non-convex problem.

متن کاملJoint Power Control and Multiuser Detection for MIMO Systems
In this paper, a joint iterative power control and parallel interference cancellation (PIC) scheme is proposed for turbo coded uplink DS-CDMA systems to suppress the multiple access interference (MAI) from co-channel users and interantenna interference (IAI) from adjacent antennas of each user. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme could compensate for some channel fading effect thro...

In this work, we consider the downlink of a multi-cell multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system and find the jointly optimal number of base station (BS) antennas and transmission powers that minimize the power consumption while satisfying each user’s effective signal-to-interference-andnoise-ratio (SINR) constraint and the BSs’ power constraints. Different from prior work, we consider a pow...

This paper compares centralized and distributed methods to solve the power minimization problem with qualityof-service (QoS) constraints in the downlink (DL) of multicell Massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems. In particular, we study the computational complexity, number of parameters that need to be exchanged between base stations (BSs), and the convergence of iterative implemen...
متن کاملJoint beamforming and power control in MIMO cognitive radio networks
In this paper, the problem of joint beamforming and power control is studied in the uplink of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) cognitive radio networks (CRNs). The objective is maximizing the minimum signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) of the secondary users (SUs). The CRN consists of a cognitive radio-base station (CR-BS) and a number of SUs. The proposed scheme uses genetic al...
